After many years spent baking, talking about baking and even working in the world of baking, it is time for me to take the plunge and start a blog.
So here is a little bit about me: I was born and raised in France, the land of delicious butter and guilt-free indulgence. I am what you call a “gourmand”. Luckily I am not alone. It runs in the family. After moving to the US at the age of 22, I became a buyer at Williams-Sonoma for over 6 years, where I had the pleasure to work with some of the most brilliant food lovers. We got to live and breathe food, and got the chance to introduce customers to new flavors and new concepts. After learning the ropes, I was asked to choose a category to manage and jumped on the chance to work in bakeware. It was a dream come true. For years, I got to create fun and innovative tools that would hopefully inspire bakers around the world. I got to think outside the box, find new ideas and share them with millions of customers. Below are some of my babies.
The goal of this blog is to inspire everyday bakers, explore original ideas and find new ways to use tools you already own to create unique sweets.
All it takes is a little imagination and lots of butter.
I hope you’ll enjoy it!
